When we think of custody, we think of wardship, welfare, care and supervision of a child.
Custody does not always occur in cases of divorce as most people think. It can also occur when a parent or parents of a child(ren) are incapable (for one reason or another) of caring for that child.
It can also be in cases where a child’s parents are deceased or lost. The instances that give rise are not exhaustive, and when determining issues of custody, our team has the expertise required to assist clients with this important issue, always considering the best interest of the child(ren) as the welfare principle under the law directs.
