Jamina is the Managing Partner and currently, Partner in charge of business and strategy.

She is also the Head of the Intellectual Property and Dispute Resolution Functions of the Firm with over 10 years’ experience as a legal practitioner.

She was recently ranked by the World Trademark Review 2020 as best/top Trademark professional in Uganda.

Jamina has successfully participated in the acquisition of intellectual property (IP) by companies and also represents a number of clients in IP related disputes.

She also has an active portfolio in ADR advising both local and international clients on commercial and complex commercial litigation as well as labor related matters.

Jamina has advised clients on mergers and acquisition, private equity and corporate financing.

Jamina has and continues to conduct trainings on intellectual property, cyber law, digital contracts, competition law amongst others.

Jamina is an accredited Mediator having obtained a certificate from the California State Bar in partnership with the Intellectual Property Rights Initiative.

She is also an Arbitrator, Mediator, Negotiator and Ombudsman with the Mediation and Conciliation Network (MCN) and a member of the International Council for Commercial Arbitration.

Jamina is also part of the Editorial team of OnPointRESOLVE, a digital magazine of the Federation of Integrated Conflict Management.

She also sits as Director and/or Corporation Secretary on a number of boards of companies (both local and International) where she provides guidance on compliance, good corporate governance practices and international best practice.

Jamina holds a Bachelor of Laws from Makerere University; and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre, Kampala.

She is also a member of Uganda and East Africa law societies.

Jamina is also a Commissioner for Oaths.
